NEW YORK PHILHARMONIC NAMES
CHRISTOPHER ROUSE COMPOSER-IN-RESIDENCE

Christopher Rouse has been named The Marie-Josée Kravis Composer-in-Residence at the Philharmonic, and will begin his two-year tenure in the 2012-13 season. He is the second composer to hold this title, following Magnus Lindberg. Mr. Rouse will also advise on CONTACT!, the Orchestra's new-music series with performances at The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Peter Norton Symphony Space.
